The Quarter sawn technique a process that is rare these days,  Highlights the Medullary Rays within the timbers, this would not normally be visible using standard tree sawing processes used by timber merchants.

Since Quarter Sawing is rarely used these days, if an occasion arises when it is possible to choose timber for a project showing the Lovely Detail of Medullary Rays then you should buy it.
